From somebody's trash to my treasure. I like to re-style & re-create what was once a cast off. Isn't that what Jesus does with us?

These are my cuties! Recently I went on a ladies retreat and Daddy had them for the weekend. They were into all kinds of craziness. Like climbing tall peaks and leaning out over where the sun doesn't shine! HA! I would have been a little nervous had I been there. But since I wasn't, all was well!!
Really, they were fine. This area is known for migrating raptors. Hundreds and Thousands of them!
Unfortunately, this day, they were few and far between.
A few days ago we went to a local corn maze. What a blast. This place is so creative in their use of tires and hay bales and thousands of corn stalks and bamboo.
A wonderful way to wrap up October and look forward to Thanksgiving and beyond!

Enjoy the season!

Local Artists

My girls and I have been busy crafting these days!

Usually by now the weather is cooler and we are hunkering down for continued cooler weather to come. But this autumn season has been a wonderful mixture of 70's and 80's. My kind of weather!
Nonetheless, we are thinking and painting Fall things to remind us of the time of year.

I love their colorful pumpkins. We just finished an African adventure to the Congo and made face masks. We watched wide-eyed as wildebeests crossed the dangerous Mara River to get to the Serengeti plains in Africa.  It's wonderful how you - tube can transport you to another continent in seconds!
I love visiting Farmers Markets year round. There's nothing like picking some crisp and sweet apples right from the tree. Or taking a hay wagon ride to the pumpkin patch to score a fat pumpkin or two.
Be blessed friends!!
I hope you are having a wonderful Fall where ever you are!
